About

Purnawan Budisetia is the Founder and Director of YPK Bali and has been in the social sector for over 30 years. He has also handled dozens of humanitarian projects and micro-enterprise development for marginalized communities in the various regions in Indonesia, supported by National and International funding agencies. He is also experienced in National and International social project competition, include the Development Marketplace by World Bank as the winner (2005) and a finalist in Washington DC (2008). 

In 2014, Mr. Purnawan selected as one of the Ashoka Fellow – USA, the biggest social entrepreneurship association and innovators for the public. 

In 2019 he has successfully led YPK Bali, both as the Best Foundation in Bali Province and the Best Indonesian Exemplary Social Welfare Institution (Foundation) 2019.
