Rachel Chan supports efforts to drive engagement with AVPN's Hong Kong-based partners and members, further strengthening the social investment ecosystem in the Northeast Asia region.

Rachel brings 5 years of experience spanning policy, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. In her previous role at AVPN, she supported policy engagement and developed capital mobilisation programmes for AVPN partners. Most recently, she led regional employee engagement and volunteerism initiatives at Visa and supported its grantmaking operations and strategy. Her volunteer experiences with the migrant worker community in Singapore and refugee community in Malaysia have reinforced her conviction to help build a more just, equitable society, and she believes in the power of cross-sector collaboration to drive unique and inclusive solutions forward.

Rachel holds a BA in Economics at the University of British Columbia and a Master’s of Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.
