Rachel Rivera is the Chief Operating Officer of Wild Lives Foundation, a nonprofit organization launched by Jody Allen and focused on marine and wildlife conservation and other philanthropic initiatives. Rachel serves on the boards of Sealife Response, Rehabilitation and Research (SR3), an organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of marine wildlife in the Pacific Northwest, One Earth Philanthropy, an organization dedicated to accelerate collective action to solve the climate crisis through groundbreaking science, inspiring media, and an innovative approach to climate philanthropy and as an ex officio member to Washington Wildlife First, an organization dedicated exclusively to monitoring and reforming Washington state’s Department of Fish and Wildlife. Rachel is additionally a member of the leadership team at Daughters for Earth, a global movement, co-founded by Jody Allen and Zainab Salbi, of women and girls working to fight the climate crisis. Previously, Rachel worked directly with Jody Allen in her role as the trustee of the Paul G. Allen Trust and Chair of Vulcan Inc. on philanthropic initiatives. In that role, Rachel worked on philanthropic strategy, including work in oceans, conservation, films, communities, and climate.
