Education and career Rikhiya holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in development studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. Before joining the Swiss Re Foundation in May 2021, Rikhiya worked at a social sector consultancy in Bangalore helping corporate clients create scalable volunteering programmes using key data and marketing insights. Overall, she has nine years of professional experience in strategic corporate philanthropy and corporate citizenship, having worked with nonprofits, foundations and corporate social responsibility teams. Current role Rikhiya manages all our community engagement programmes in the Asia Pacific region, including Community Days and Charity of the Year. She is also responsible for outreach and communications for the Swiss Re Foundation worldwide.
