About

Rajen serves as Country Director India, for IIC and TCD which are set up to serve governments and other scale players in development sector, with implementation, research and executive education/training in Education, WASH, Health and Energy & Environment. Previously, Rajen was the Global head of the Leadership and Talent Advisory Practice for Dalberg and co-led Dalberg Asia’s initiatives in the Inclusive Business, Innovative Finance and M&E space. He was based in Singapore. Prior to Dalberg, Rajen was with Heidrick & Struggles Singapore where he was a Principal, and an early member of the team that started the Leadership Consulting Practice in Asia-Pacific for the firm; and at McKinsey & Company, Singapore (where he was a Fellow with the McKinsey Centre for Asian Leadership). Prior to that, he served as Consultant, Sr. Consultant and Manager at ECS Ltd, Mumbai (now a PricewaterhouseCoopers firm). Rajen holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and a B.Com. from Mumbai University. He is a Sir Dorab Tata Merit Scholar, a recipient of ‘Citibank Leadership Award’, and the ‘Wings of Excellence’ Award from University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Rajen is an award-nominated screenwriter with 4 full-length movies produced with full credits. He is a two time TEDx speaker including one on “How the Poor See Life” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4JPFr8g3yQ , and a Facilitator on Tata Jagriti Yatra, a 9000-km train journey across India to visit and learn from social entrepreneurs. He has also been a grass-roots volunteer in the slums of Mumbai and Delhi for awareness campaigns.
