Rona Pryor is the Acting Director for the SVP Network Office, where she has worked since October 2003, managing the annual conference, peer groups and gatherings, and the online knowledge management space, among other things. A Northwest native, she has worked for a local theatre company, a concert promoter, and a magazine. Some of Rona’s more dubious accomplishments include winning the Cowboy Peeps Invitational Annual Ranch Hands’ Rodeo and dancing onstage at the Gorge Amphitheater in front of a crowd of 20,000 – dressed as a tomato.
Degrees in English and theatre from Pacific Lutheran University led to a short stint at a humanitarian organization in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, during which Rona had the privilege of traveling to Kosovo in the immediate aftermath of the war. A life-altering experience, it was this trip that solidified her commitment to working in the social sector.
