Root Impact is a for-purpose organization, founded in 2012, supporting Changemakers and/or social entrepreneurs who are creating innovative solutions to tackle the social issues. Root Impact envisions a world where everyone can make a real change. In order to help young social entrepreneurs and Changemakers, Root Impact has been building an ‘Impact Ecosystem’ by providing a Changemaker-friendly environment including a co-working space HEYGROUND, co-living houses D-well as well as learning opportunities like Impact Basecamp and Impact Career series. 

As a marketing director, Sunmoon Jang and her team try to help the changemakers grow healthy with innovative and sustainable marketing plans. She believes that the changemakers are playing a key role in making the world a better place and with those regards, she's getting deeply committed to achieving gender equality especially in Asia. Before Root Impact, Sunmoon worked in Marketing and Global Go-to-Market Strategy Team at LG Electronics Korea/USA. She recently worked at AAFE, a community based organization in New York City as an economic development project manager. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Sogang University and an MPA from Columbia University.
