Sahil is Deputy Director and Head of development at Wildlife Trust of India. After having worked with corporate India for 17 years, he joined one of the most renowned organization in the field of conservation action "Wildlife Trust of India" in 2014 for his undying inclination towards biodiversity conservation. According to him, “It’s very satisfying to work in the challenging environment wherein approximately less than 2% of the total funds are allocated towards protection of wildlife and its habitat, which I believe is a rich heritage that we need to pass on to the generations to come and very important to keep the balance of nature."
He is also an honorary animal welfare officer of Animal Welfare Board of India.
During his tenure, corporate giants like Apollo Tyres (India), Oracle(India) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India (ONGC) have partnered with WTI for the cause of conservation action.
To define him, he is a person with all the hope for conservation and passion to save animals.
