Sonia has operational responsibility for the cash and liquidity management including investment and lending activities of the Asia Pacific affiliates of Johnson & Johnson. She is also responsible for providing treasury direction to affiliates with respect to M&A transactions, funding requests, optimal hedging solutions and affiliate capital structure issues. She provides leadership for the implementation of treasury related projects as well as global leadership for the cash management implementations around the world. Sonia has been with J&J for 23 years holding various positions in finance and treasury in Singapore and Australia . Prior to J&J Sonia worked at the Medical Benefits Fund of Australia and Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC). Sonia is a graduate of the University of Wollongong in Australia , with a degree in Commerce . She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, She is also a fellow of the Finance and Treasury Association of Australia.
