Serena is managing programme delivery in Cambodia and Thailand for Voluntary Service Overseas. She has over 10 years? experience designing and delivering volunteering for development projects in Asia, Africa and the UK. Her VSO journey began in 2012 as a volunteer herself and she has since engaged a diverse range of volunteers in the technical areas of education, livelihoods, governance, community health and well-being. With a strong background in youth programming and adolescent engagement and volunteering for development, she is a firm believer in an approach which enhances the assets and capabilities of marginalized people. Serena leads the programme delivery team with passion and dedication, operationalizing the country strategy and ensuring programme quality and compliance. At AVPN, Serena is keen to explore new and innovative partnerships to enable and facilitate sustainable change for marginalized people in the Asia Pacific region.
