Lam Shiao Ning is a senior corporate lawyer and business adviser with over 25 years of experience advising companies, founders, investors, and boards across Asia on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, capital markets, and corporate governance. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Rubicon Law LLC, a Singapore-based boutique corporate law firm that works closely with startups, growth companies, family businesses, and investor-backed enterprises in the region on strategic transactions and long-term value creation.

Shiao Ning has led and advised on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including public and private M&A, fundraisings, restructurings, and exits, often involving multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders. She brings a commercially pragmatic and solutions-driven approach to complex issues at the intersection of law, capital, and governance, with particular experience supporting high-growth and mission-driven organisations.

Prior to establishing Rubicon Law, Shiao Ning held senior leadership roles at leading Singapore law firms, including as an Equity Director at Drew & Napier LLC, one of Singapore's largest law firms.

Shiao Ning is consistently recognised by leading legal directories and industry publications for her work in Corporate/M&A and Startups & Emerging Companies. She has been ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global, recognised by The Legal 500, and listed among Singapore's Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal.

In addition to her legal practice, Shiao Ning has made significant contributions to the legal profession and legal education. She had served as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Singapore Institute of Legal Education, and as an Adjunct Tutor at the Singapore Management University School of Law. She is also a member of the Inquiry Panel of the Law Society of Singapore, reflecting her commitment to professional standards, ethics, and governance.
