About

Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki is a Chartered Accountant by training, holding qualifications from the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales. She brings over 20 years of professional experience spanning Malaysia, Australia, and the United States. Her career includes leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer of Wanita Berdaya Selangor, an organisation dedicated to celebrating talent and propelling the potential of women in the state of Selangor in areas of leadership, economic, and social sectors. She has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Khazanah Nasional Berhad, and the United Nations. From 2015 to 2016, Siti served as the Economics, Finance, and Private Sector Advisor to the United Nations High-Level Panel on Humanitarian Financing Secretariat in New York. During this time, she spearheaded the Islamic Social Finance for Humanitarian Action initiative, which was officially launched at the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul in May 2016 by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Siti’s extensive background in the commercial and social development sectors has been instrumental in fostering entrepreneurship, social progress, and sustainable development. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is also a self-taught visual artist, combining creative insight with financial expertise to drive innovation, promote Malaysia’s cultural heritage, and advance the nation’s economic, social, and sustainable growth. She currently serves as Trustee and Managing Director of Yayasan Hasanah, Malaysia’s leading impact-based foundation. At present, Siti also sits on the boards of premier scholarship provider Yayasan Khazanah, INCEIF University and Think City Sdn Bhd.
