Sriven Naidu is Director of Programme Development and Partnerships (Master of Tri-Sector Collaboration), at Singapore Management University. He has been building a cross-border knowledge ecosystem that includes practitioners, academics, international organisations, government agencies and sustainability-conscious multinational corporations. His career has spanned management and governance across the private, public and academic sectors as lawyer, GM of a start-up, educator, higher education policy-maker and strategist. After MBA at INSEAD on government scholarship in 2007, Sriven was seconded to the Higher Education Division at Singapore's Ministry of Education - as Deputy Director for both Policy and Quality Assurance. (Policy oversight included 6 technical education institutions, 2 arts colleges, Science Centre Singapore and the Institute of South East Asian Studies (ISEAS). Served on audit and remuneration committees of the LaSalle College of the Art's Board of Directors.) Served as Director of Strategic Planning for Singapore Management University while it developed rapidly into a University specialising in the Social Sciences, Business and Computing. The strategy developed for SMU's Vision 2025 centres on being embedded in a web of mutually-beneficial relationships - and co-evolving with its partners as the environment transforms. He co-led the formation of the global SIGMA Alliance of 9 Management Universities for integrating "business as a part of society and not apart from society". He continues to teach Corporate Law at SMU’s School of Law.
