Sunita has developed and implemented programmes at national and international level on
adolescent empowerment; citizenship education, women’s rights, sexuality, addressing early
marriage; domestic violence; and stigma around HIV/ AIDS. An experienced instructional designer and facilitator, Sunita has conducted over 1000 capacity building programs with various stakeholders. She is a technical expert on gender and rights to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy, BRAC, UNICEF, Save the Children, Pratham and Oxfam. She has conceptualised and designed over 40 curriculums and publications on intersectional human rights issues in the past two decades. She is on the board of Pravah a leading youth development organization and is a founder member of Sangawari a socio - cultural group, which uses theatre and culture to address conflict related issues.
