Olaf is UNHCR?s Regional Manager for Private Partnerships and Philanthropy in the Asia and Pacific region. As such, he leads and coordinates the work of UNHCR ? the UN Refugee Agency?s Private Sector Partnerships team that engages with corporates, foundations and philanthropists in the region. 

Olaf joined UNHCR in 2010 and has worked for the organization in Geneva, Darfur and Brussels and is currently based in Bangkok. 

Olaf speaks Dutch, French and English and holds a BA in Applied Economics and Commerce followed by a MSc in Commerce with a specialization in International Relations from the Catholic University of Leuven (Brussels), Belgium
