Dr Christopher Thomas is Director of Partnerships at Yidan Prize Foundation. He is Social Entrepreneur in Residence at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education and was Advisor to the Education Global Practice at the World Bank. He has served in various strategy and management roles at the World Bank Group, including Lead Strategy Officer, Advisor to the Managing Director, and Manager of Human Development Programs in Asia and Africa. In these roles, he helped the World Bank contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, agreements on Financing for Development, and partnerships with the IMF and multilateral development banks. He holds an M.A. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Education from Stanford University.
