Uta-Micaela Dürig has been Chief Executive Officer at the Robert Bosch Stiftung since July 2015. From 2004 until 2014 she was responsible for the Bosch Group's global corporate communications, brand management and sustainability department. Prior to that, she was in charge of corporate communications/marketing communications for companies such as ABB and RWE. A newspaper journalist by training, Dürig graduated from the Institute of Communication Theory of the Free University of Berlin in 1992. After holding several positions at daily newspapers, she worked for the first government of a unified Berlin. Dürig is the author of several publications and has taught international communication management and public relations at journalism schools and universities since 1996. She is a co-founder of the Academic Society for Corporate Management and Communication in Leipzig and a member of the advisory board of Berlin's Quadriga University of Applied Sciences for Communication, Leadership, and Public Affairs, Fresenius University, Munich, member of the board of trustees of Caritas Stuttgart and Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart, member of the board of trustees of Deutsches Museum in Munich, active member of the general assembly of the Goethe-Institut, Munich, and member of the supervisory board of LBBW Bank, Stuttgart.
