Veronica Colondam is the CEO & Founder of YCAB Foundation, a pioneering social enterprise in Indonesia. YCAB is one of the few organizations in Asia to receive General Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC and was ranked #28 in the Top 100 SPO/NGO worldwide by NGO Advisor in January 2024. Under her leadership, YCAB has transformed lives through its sustainable model, improving access to education for marginalized youth and empowering women micro-entrepreneurs through inclusive financing. To date, over 5 million people have been served through YCAB's initiatives. Veronica is a recognized thought leader, published author, and recipient of numerous awards, including Young Global Leader (YGL, 2006), Fellow of Asia21 Young Leader (2007), two United Nations honors (Vienna, 2001 & New York, 2017), EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2011), Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2012), and Forbes’ 48 Asian Philanthropists (2015). She has also been named among Women of Impact (2020), Asia’s Top Superwomen (2021), and Tribun’s MVP in the Educational Sector (2023). Her academic credentials include double degrees in Communications and Public Relations, and an MSc in Social Sciences from Imperial College London. She has completed specialized leadership programs, including the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader program at Harvard (2009) and Yale (2014), along with studies in Leadership (MIT, 2010), Social Entrepreneurship (MIT & INSEAD, 2010), and Impact Investing (Oxford, 2012). Veronica currently serves as an Independent Commissioner of PT. PNM Indonesia, the world’s largest microfinance institution, a role she has held since 2018. She also served as Chair of the AVPN Board (2021–2025) and is a founding member and Vice President of ICCSA, where she champions stewardship and accountability in Christian organisations. Married with three grown children, Veronica dedicates her time to inspiring the next generation through travel, lectures, coaching, and mentorship.
