Mr. Victor Rachmat Hartono is the Chief Operating Officer of PT. Djarum and the President Director of the Djarum Foundation. Under his leadership and vision, Djarum continues to thrive?expanding into one of the largest and most successful cigarette companies in the region. He is very proud to be an Indonesian Citizen and believes that in the future, Indonesia will fulfill its potential as a well-rounded benign superpower nation of Southeast Asia. Indonesia will be characterized by strong economic growth, flourishing culture, strong sports performance, effective environmental management, thriving civil society and high quality of living standards.

Mr. Hartono was born in Semarang; in his spare time he enjoys Badminton, Swimming, History, Photography, Philanthropy, and of course Djarum Super ? among many other things! He currently resides in Jakarta and holds degrees from the United States ? Mr. Hartono earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego ? California, as well as a M.M. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
