As an Associate Marketing at AVPN, Wyrlo plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the organization's digital presence. He is responsible for publishing a variety of content, including blogs, event listings, and press releases, on WordPress websites. Wyrlo ensures that website content is optimized for search engines, aligns with paid advertising campaigns, and meets other digital marketing goals. He is adept at building WordPress pages, adhering to design guidelines, and adding basic HTML styling to enhance the user experience. Additionally, he finds and edits images to complement the published content. Wyrlo's responsibilities extend to performing daily website health checks and assisting with quality assurance by reviewing pages uploaded by other AVPN staff. He provides front-end troubleshooting support and manages content integrity, ensuring that all links are active and accurate. Furthermore, Wyrlo supports the management of AVPN's presence across other digital channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and assists users of the Swapcard tool. His proactive approach in identifying improvement opportunities on the AVPN website and microsites reflects his commitment to maintaining and advancing the organization's digital strategy. Prior to joining AVPN, Wyrlo served as an IT Operations Manager in the optical industry for four years, where he enhanced operational efficiency and productivity across multiple branches. He developed and maintained web and cloud applications, implemented an inventory management system that significantly reduced errors and increased efficiency, and established foundational IT standards for the organization. Before that, as an Automation Support Engineer and Application Developer at a large American semiconductor company for ten years, Wyrlo supported automation applications across various locations, created detailed documentation to streamline troubleshooting, managed application errors using Jira, and led process improvement projects. His initiatives resulted in reduced downtime, quicker identification and resolution of equipment issues, and improved testing efficiency.
