Yukie is an associate of AVPN's Japan team.
She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before her study, Yukie had spent a year in the private sector and three and a half years in community work in a Tohoku area NGO after the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred in 2011.

With her academic background in public policy and community work, she passionately pursues her career as a field researcher and cosultant, helping social sectors take strategic decisions and action.
In her last role as an NGO project manager, she had a wide variety of field experiences in stakeholder management, fundraising, volunteer management and community empowerment. After handing over operations to a local NGO, she entered LSE and studied policy design and impact evaluation methods, with the goal of designing effective and evidence-based communication for cross sector collaboration. During her studies, she participated in internship opportunities in Tata Chemicals in India, UnLtd in London and STICERD India Observatory at LSE.
