AVPN Closes 2013 with 141 Members – Welcome New Members!

AVPN has just passed its second year and our membership growth has been phenomenal with over 140 members presently. We would like to build on this success to deepen our penetration in each of the target markets and we need your help in identifying key prospects. We welcome members and friends to make referrals to help build this community. For the next 3 months, we will offer a free ticket to the AVPN Conference 2014 with 2 new confirmed referrals. Our new members over the past months come from many different countries, including Canada, China, India, Singapore, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Korea and Hong Kong! We welcome the diversity in geography and even functions. We have: impact investors, human and intellectual capital intermediaries, online platforms, global networks, incubators, foundations and other progressive organisations. A. Environmental Stewardship
To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
