Global Leader Series: Beyond Measurements – Creating an Effective Social Value Framework | AVPN Highlight Reel

On 26 September 2017, AVPN partnered the National Council of Social Services Singapore to host the Global Leader Series Conference 2. We invited Jeremy Nicholls, CEO of Social Value International to find out how the Social Value Framework can help social investors and Social Purpose Organisations to collaboratively manage, plan and make decisions to increase social value.

Through an interactive session, with hands-on group exercises and case studies, the Conference drew out a variety of insights. Find out what key stakeholders have to say about the session!

A. Environmental Stewardship
To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training

Agnes is Assistant Manager, Markets at AVPN. She supports Market teams with data management and updates, and developing reports and dashboards to improve member engagement. She also manages the AVPN annual conference registration. Agnes has over 10 years experience in system development and administration, system testing, and technical support. Her clients include Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd, Panasonic Asia Pacific, NCS Pte Ltd, National Library Board, SPRING Singapore and Housing Development Board. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines with a degree of BS Mathematics Major in Computer Science.
