About the Initiative
The CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative is a SGD 3 million initiative, supported by AVPN, dedicated to strengthening community resilience across Asia. Focusing on education, health, and well-being, the initiative is designed to support vulnerable groups, especially children and youth in China, India, Singapore and Vietnam.
By focusing on children and youth, the CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative aims to equip this group with the skills, knowledge and support systems needed to thrive in the face of adversity, driving economic growth and strengthening their resilience to ensure a stronger, more adaptive and equitable future.
Introducing Grantees
Together with AVPN, CapitaLand Hope Foundation has selected 12 grantees across Vietnam, Singapore, India, and China for the CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative. With diverse expertise and wide-reaching impact, these organisations are working closely on the ground to build stronger communities through education, skills development, and physical health, and mental health and well-being initiatives for children and youth.

Who is eligible to apply?

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, your organisation should meet the following criteria:
- A registered nonprofit organisation
- Operates in one of the following markets:
- China
- India
- Singapore
- Vietnam
- Possess a well-defined plan of the solution with potential for scalability, feasibility and impact
- Organisations must be able to provide 2 recent years of audited financial reports
- Joint applications are allowed, but there must be one lead applicant submitting the application
- Should NOT be the following:
- Religious organisations
- Politically-affiliated organisations
- Included in the US or EU sanctions list, nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency

What is the CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative?
The CapitaLand Community Resilience Initiative, supported by AVPN, is a grant aimed at strengthening community resilience in 4 Asian markets that CapitaLand operates: China, India, Singapore, and Vietnam. The Initiative is designed to support nonprofit organisations who support children and youth in these 4 markets through education or health initiatives.
What types of support does the Initiative provide?
Successful applicants will receive financial support.
How are organisations selected to receive support from the Initiative?
Organisations are selected through an open call process. The selection is based on various criteria, including the organisation’s problem-solution fit, the impact of the organisation’s proposed initiatives, and their ability to effectively utilise the resources provided by the Initiative.
ORGANISATIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Are social enterprises eligible to apply?
No, this Initiative is only eligible for legally registered Non-Profit Organisations. Please evaluate if your organisation fulfils this criteria before proceeding to apply for this Initiative.
Are big international non-governmental organisations eligible to apply?
If your organisation is a registered Non-Profit organisation in your market of operation, then you will be eligible to apply.
If you have multiple registered legal entities, please list one that is most relevant to the region that the Initiative covers. You should also ensure that the organisation listed meets the application eligibility.
What types of documentation do you accept as proof of non-profit or charities?
Please provide the legal documentation provided by the national authorities in your country. Applicants will be asked to verify their nonprofit status as part of the application process.
How many grants will be awarded through the Initiative?
A total of S$3 million SGD in grants will be disbursed to awardee organisations by the end of 2025.
What is the geographic scope eligibility for this Initiative?
Organisations registered and operating in China, India, Singapore, or Vietnam are eligible to apply.

Who evaluates the applications?
Applications are evaluated by an Operating and Grant Committee based on the criteria that have been shared.
How will submissions be assessed?
During the assessment stage we will be looking at the organisation’s eligibility and alignment to the key criteria and impact areas that have been outlined. More specifically, the application form requires you to provide information about your organisation and your solution across the following criteria:
- Organisation’s Track Record
- Financial Stability & Sustainability
- Problem and Solution Fit
- Solution Sustainability, Feasibility, and Scalability
- Impact and Reach
Following the initial assessment, top-scoring applicants may be requested to provide additional information for due diligence checks and will be invited to participate in a virtual pitching session for further evaluation.
How will I learn about updates for the Initiative?
Applicants can expect to hear status updates about the initiative via email. Updates will be sent to the email associated with the applicant account through which registration was submitted.
How detailed should the project description be when we fill in the application form?
Each section of the form has a word count limitation. It is up to your discretion to provide as much relevant information about the project, within the word count.
Can we apply as a coalition with one lead partner? If yes, can the lead partner put in more than one application with different partners?
Joint applications are allowed, but there must be one lead applicant submitting the application.
How can we send documents and attachments?
You will be able to upload all necessary documents through the online application portal.

What happens when I opt-in and agree to have my organisational and personal information used for marketing and publicity purposes?
By opting in, we will be able to mention your organisation’s name, logo, and products /services publicly in relation to the Granting Initiative on AVPN’s and other partners’ websites and associated marketing collateral.
