Marketing and Communications - Internship

AVPN is a unique funders’ network committed to building a vibrant and high-impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN’s mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

AVPN is seeking a Communications Intern to assist in the daily management of the AVPN brand and communication platforms. The intern will report directly to the Manager, Content Marketing and be integrally involved with the AVPN team, getting an overview of the fast-growing social investment sector in Asia.

Work with the Marketing Communications and Insights teams to create an Impact page on AVPN’s website.
Identify story angles, develop and write a collection of impact stories related to AVPN's work.
Work with the team to review and revise website content to improve visitors’ journey.
Support AVPN Events: content creation for social media, proofread website content and support marketing communications activities.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks including video and podcast editing

Interest in the social impact space, impact investing, family offices and financial trends
Must have excellent writing skills (in English)
Strong proofreading and editing skills
Detailed and have the patience to do research and lots of reading
Ability to work independently, be resourceful in terms of finding sources and asking questions
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and think on your feet
Able to collaborate vertically and laterally with leadership, colleagues and members
Familiar with MS Office and Google Suite
Some work or educational experience in communications, social investment or social impact

Expected Commitment

Be able to work for at least 4 to 6 months, and be based in Singapore
Hybrid working environment, with expectation for candidates to come to the physical office three days a week.
