AVPN’s mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

We are looking for an intern to support our market team in China. In the lead up to the conference, this individual will play a role in supporting the team in the planning and coordination of sessions for our conference in June. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the social impact ecosystem in Asia.

Support the development of concept notes and engagement plans for the China market.
Support the market representatives in creating an excellent experience for our members at the AVPN Global conference and regional events.
Assist the team in marketing communications and community building, including tasks such as WeChat operations, Chinese content development, etc.
Coordinate session and meeting planning for Chinese delegates to facilitate discussions with speakers from various Asian and global markets
Act as liaison person for Chinese delegates, coordinate logistics for AVPN Global Conference and regional events
Draft meeting materials and session description to communicate internally and externally

Strong interest and knowledge in social impact, sustainable finance, ESG and related areas is preferred.
Senior undergraduate or graduate students (able to guarantee sufficient working hours), preferably majoring in finance, economics and management, social sciences, environment, interpretation.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Fluent spoken Mandarin and English.
Good English and Chinese writing skills.
Excellent communication ability and skills.
Ability to research, analyze and learn.
Proficiency in using office software such as Google documents and Microsoft Office
