Job Description

AVPN is seeking a Capital Mobilisation Manager to join the team in strengthening the ecosystem to support funders in making strategic decisions in capital deployment, explore engagement opportunities with intermediaries, equip enterprises and NPOs to access resources.


As part of the Products team, you will design and innovate programmes that are relevant for our stakeholders. You will work closely with our colleagues in the respective markets and across AVPN thematic platforms. You will need to establish an understanding of the supply and demand landscapes, and translate them into effective connections. Through this work, you will gain valuable insights of the fast-growing social investment sector in Asia-Pacific. This position will report to the Capital Mobilisation Director.

We are open for the candidate to be based out of Indonesia, the Philippines, or Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team on the design and execution of the five core pillars
  • Devise engagement plans for the different stakeholders
  • Strengthen the enterprise/NPO pipeline
  • Manage the Deal Share Platform
  • Develop content for strategic communications
  • Plan and execute online and offline (when the situation permits) events
  • Work closely with colleagues from the other departments to roll out AVPN initiatives for our members
  • Support Partnerships team in developing proposals

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in product development/project management
  • Experience in social investment/entrepreneurship-related areas a plus
  • Experience in policy, gender, climate related work a plus
  • Experience in managing philanthropic funds a plus
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter
  • A strategic thinker, and resourceful
  • Be proactive in engaging stakeholders
  • Be detail-oriented, thorough and meticulous
  • Demonstrate competency in time management and prioritising within multiple projects
  • Good in copywriting and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in English
  • Firm MS Office skills
