A new chapter for our members
From 1 July 2026, AVPN will introduce a new engagement model designed to offer greater flexibility and enhanced ways to engage with the people, ideas, and initiatives shaping Asia’s social impact ecosystem.
As a valued member of the AVPN community, your current benefits and services will remain unchanged through 31 December 2026, and no action is required at this time.
AVPN ECOSYSTEM
Types of organisation
AVPN is Asia’s largest platform for social impact. Our network is made up of organisations that are deploying financial, human, and intellectual resources to increase social impact in Asia. This includes:
Non-profit organisations that fund social causes. Rather than running their own activities, trusts and foundations achieve their objectives by giving money to SPOs which use the money to run their activities.
Wealth management advisory or establishment for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.
Mainstream company that invests directly in social impact through CSR or through establishing a corporate foundation.
A fund that makes investments made to SEs and businesses with a sustainability focus, with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.
Government related members include statutory boards, government organisations and associations, and large international organisations that provide governments a platform to cooperate.
International NGOs that provide funding for local NGOs to deepen their impact.
Universities, academies, research institutes and think tanks that are engaged in the social economy.
Organisations that provide facilities, expertise and other forms of non-monetary support to nurture young enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Intermediaries help bridge between investors and investees to help with deal sourcing, management and measurement, and often provide some capacity building for the investee organisations.
Private equity and venture capital firms engage in direct investments with privately held companies ranging from startups to mature companies.
Service providers are businesses and nonprofits that provide support services to the social investment ecosystem such as consulting, legal support and talent management.
Online and offline organisations that bring diverse stakeholders together.

AVPN’s new engagement model introduces two membership pathways, Discovery and Vantage, designed to support organisations with different goals, priorities, and ways of engaging with the AVPN community.
Every organisation engages with AVPN differently. As the needs of our community continue to evolve, AVPN is introducing a more flexible approach that offers meaningful ways to connect, collaborate, and create impact across Asia.
From 1 July 2026, organisations joining AVPN will be able to engage through one of two membership pathways: Discovery or Vantage.
Existing Vision, Catalyst and Knowledge members will continue to enjoy their current benefits and services through 31 December 2026.
The new engagement model applies to organisations joining AVPN on or after 1 July 2026.
Existing members will continue to receive their current benefits and services through 31 December 2026.
Existing AVPN Members
Your current benefits and services will remain unchanged through 31 December 2026.

Discovery
Discovery is a flexible membership pathway that gives organisations access to the AVPN community, opportunities, services, and learning experiences based on their needs and priorities.
Discovery is designed for organisations looking for a flexible way to engage with the AVPN community and access opportunities as their needs evolve.
Discovery members can access a range of benefits and choose to participate in additional programmes, services, and opportunities based on their interests and goals.
Organisations can apply online through AVPN’s application process.
Vantage
Organisations can apply online or contact their AVPN Representative to learn more about whether Vantage is the right fit for their organisation.
Fees & Participation
Discovery is free to join, with the option to access additional programmes, services, and opportunities based on your organisation’s needs.
Vantage is available through an annual fee of USD 10,000, providing dedicated support, strategic engagement, and enhanced opportunities across the AVPN community.
