Problem

The problems we are solving are poor prognosis and poor outcomes in cancer care arising from a lack of best practices due to an insufficient number of oncologists in the country. Patients do not get access to the required treatment planning and that affects outcomes. Comprehensive cancer care exists in the top 7-8 cities only whereas most patients are in Tier 1-2-3-4 cities, the semi-urban India.

There is a clear supply chain gap which forces patients to spend man-days and several thousand Rs commuting between cities looking for correct diagnosis and the best treatment plan for their loved ones. Compliance to treatment is low and patients drop out due to high out of pocket expenses coupled with loss of livelihood as cancer treatment requires extended stays near the treating centers. If we can help with data backed opinions, treatment guidelines and patients can be treated closer home, compliance to treatment will improve, leading to better outcomes.

Solution

We are solving the problem through an AI BASED ALGORITHM, that does the following:
  1. Deconstructs cases to a crisp summary for quick review
  2. Clinical Decision Support, in the algorithm, suggests indicative treatment protocols based on patient profile, disease profile staging, for quick review and prescription
  3. The clinician can review, share protocols with patients, add clinical notes and share with patients, nursing and pharmacy for administering care, increasing functionality and providing care continuum to patients
  4. Allow for clinician to refer case to peers for case discussion
