Problem

By 2030, two-thirds of the world population will be living in urban cities and by 2050, the world population is expected to increase and exceed 10 billion. With this population increase, it is predicted we will then need 70% more food and 50% more energy. To build sustainable human habitats, we need to target zero-food waste and renewable energy for carbon neutrality. Through sustainable organic farming, urban cities can grow and harvest vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruits, and future food using food waste recycling products; e.g. organic fertilizer, functional biofeed and RE100 biomass renewable energy.


This project will be the first sustainability initiative to build sustainable human habitats with circular economy and carbon neutrality. This project may address the issues to be solved in the NEOM project of Saudi Arabia, New Capital City development project of East Kalimantan in Indonesia and TELOSA project at desert of the USA. This project will be best fitted in India and China where the population is the most in Asia. This project also challenges to initiate sustainable organic SMART farming at homes, buildings and rural districts in urban cities to build sustainable ESG.

It is clear that there is a pressing need to tackle these emerging global issues faced by urban cities, and Environment & Energy Technology Inc. (en2t, en-squared-t) has the solution for this. We are looking for global business partners to build sustainable human habitats together.

Solution

At en2t, we are developing Sustainable Organic SMART and Vertical Farming (SOSVFarming) technology to resolve these emerging global issues using:
  • encore System (Environment-friendly Comprehensive food waste Recycling System)
    • technology used to recycle organic and food waste using salt-tolerant mushroom strains


Food waste recycled biomass can be further utilized as an eco-friendly plastic and styrofoam substitute material. It can replace disposable plastic and styrofoam products and raw materials for architecture building and furniture. After some time, this can then be used as organic fertilizer, or used as soil for landscaping and soil restoration to reduce ecological footprint.

We need sustainable and integrated solution with circular economy. This food waste recycling project with sustainable organic SMART or vertical farming showcase will be the comprehensive solution for the humanity. We have all the necessary patents registered and proven core technology for the encore system as well as a laboratory scale facility.

Means of Measurement

RE100 renewable energy source is produced from the food waste recycling using mushroom compost. Mushroom compost after the mushroom harvest can be manufactured as the high energy fuel pellet.
