Problem

One in every 5 people in the world are affected by mental health conditions, but fewer than 10% of them actually reach out for help. There has been greater progress in the movement for greater mental health literacy, availability, and accessibility in the West than in the East.

In Thailand, there are more than 7 million people that need mental health support but only 1 out of 3 people reach out for help. The barriers faced in seeking mental health services can be attributed to a low psychiatrist and psychologist number per capita, mental health stigma, and mental health literacy. Ooca aims to expand its regional operations and to be able to provide e-prescription services from Q4 2021 to advance and advocate for mental health services and the profession.

Solution

We are currently in the phase of developing:

1. A B2C tele-mental health platform that allows 24/7 online anonymous video-counseling service with a psychiatrist and psychologist from our pool of mental health professionals
2. A B2B corporate mental health support service with analytic tools for companies
3. A spin-off "Wall of Sharing foundation" for students and other beneficiaries to have free mental health support enabled by our network of psychiatrists and psychologists.
