In a report by Indeed last January 2020, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) jobs in India have increased by 44% from 2016 to 2019.

However, it was determined that there are more than 20 crore children across private and public schools who have low or poor access to a STEM-related method of learning according to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP in 2021.

With UNICEF predicting that 53% of Indian youth will lack skills for 21st century jobs by 2030, it is evident that there is a pressing need to tackle the issue of STEM education in India and Universe Simplified Foundation has the solution for this.

At Universe Simplified Foundation, we aim to address the issue of STEM education in highly under-resourced Government schools in India to ensure students receive equal opportunities for inquiry-driven STEM at par with elite schools by setting up low-cost, portable Innovation Hubs.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) based Innovation Hubs inculcate innovation and problem solving skills in children and empower them to apply science and technology to address real life local and global challenges and to create better employment opportunities for themselves.
