Problem

In January 2015, we were warned by PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology) that BOTH our Marikina residences are dangerously located almost on top of the West Valley Fault. Needless to say, the responsibility to move our children to safer ground was imperative.

Solution

CRIBS aims to provide a safe and caring home environment for children in need of special protection. Aside from residential care, CRIBS provides holistic and healing interventions, as well as Department of Education (DepEd) accredited special education classes for those who are of school-age.

We have mobilized all our efforts to search for a new location – a safer, healthier, greener environment where all our children can continue to grow and heal. We were lucky to have found -- and acquired, such a property: a 3,000 sq.m. lot in San Luis, Antipolo City. However, we are now faced with the even greater challenge of building a new home for our babies and abused young girls.
