For the past 8 years, the annual CDL-GCNS Young SDG Leaders Award (formerly known as CDL-Compact Singapore Young CSR Leaders Awards) has attracted the participation of >1,000 youths and helped nurture them to be responsible future business leaders. The case competition was rebranded in 2018 to provide closer alignment with the global movement towards sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Back for the 9th edition, CDL is proud to launch the CDL-GCNS Young SDG Leaders Award, in collaboration with Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS).
The objectives of the competition are to:
- Educate and empower young leaders to be SDG advocates
- Encourage Singapore companies to align their sustainability efforts with SDGs
- Mobilise youths and private sector towards achieving the UN global goals
10 finalist teams will get the exclusive opportunity to work on a 3-5 day attachment with large organisations, as part of their final proposal. Attractive cash prizes of up to $10,000 await the Top 3 teams.
