Samhita and India Sanitation Coalition, in partnership with CEPT University, and with support from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Govt. of Maharashtra, have set up the Corporate Platform for WASH in Maharashtra. It strengthens the drive to achieve an open defecation-free society through access to water along with safe and sustainable sanitation and hygiene practices.
The platform brings together multiple stakeholders of the WASH ecosystem – government, companies, multilaterals, implementation agencies and sector experts, to pilot high impact and holistic CSR interventions in WASH (both urban and rural) over the next four years.

As part of WASH Platform, we organize corporate round tables across various cities in Maharashtra, to identify and facilitate strategic areas for corporate engagement in the WASH space and drive collaboration with partners at the local level. We have had two successful roundtables in Pune and Mumbai so far, with participation from various local stakeholders including local companies, civic bodies and sector experts.
