Hong Kong Shared Good Values (HKSGV) movement was launched by Wofoo Social Enterprises in 2016. Hong Kong Shared Good Values (HKSGV) aims to promote three core concepts, namely “Corporate Culture Building”, “Social Impact Assessment” and “Creating Shared Value” and promote sustainable socio-economic growth by leveraging the city’s entrepreneurial excellence to tackle social needs. To this end, not only social needs will be better addressed, new business opportunities will also be created.
Hong Kong Shared Good Values Case Competition is one of the movement’s various initiatives aiming to inspire young people to become innovative future leaders who are aware of and embrace values advocated in the CSV approach. Through the promotion within campus and other media channels, the competition invites college students and working youth to submit proposals aligned with selected companies’ core business ventures after an intense mentorship session. In 2017, more than 70 teams had participated in the competition and provided insightful ideas to the business leaders of case partner.
This year, we are honored to have two renowned organisations Airport Authority Hong Kong and St. James’ Settlement as our partners for the case competition. The two cases can help on inspiring business leaders how shared value can be adopted in their own institutions, as well as motivating organization leaders with better adoption of CSV approach and business mindset. The winning team will get an opportunity in pitching to top management for adopting their idea or seize an internship opportunity in the partners company. The program will last from January 2018 to May 2018.
