As one of the 6 pillars, Financial Planning is often neglected by most organizations focused only on their short-term, immediate funding needs. These organizations often operate in survival mode, always scrambling for donations and panic when unexpected crisis, like the Covid 19 pandemic, occur. Financial Planning is an important space to look into, adapting various models and financial strategies to enable an organization to assess long term financial needs, mitigate risks, and determine the resources required to support and meet objectives and fulfill the organizations’ overarching mission, as well as plans for continued growth.
