Where there is change, there is an opportunity to grow. In our drastically unpredictable world, building resilience is crucial to ensure every student can keep learning, learn well, and thrive in the future.
Hosted by the Yidan Prize Foundation, the 2024 Yidan Prize Summit gathers a diverse group of voices who bring their expertise to help us understand and approach the topic of resilience holistically across learners, educators, and systems, as well as in different contexts. Joined by the 2024 Yidan Prize laureates Professor Wolfgang Lutz, Professor Mark Jordans, Marwa Zahr, and Luke Stannard, we’ll hear from learners, practitioners, researchers, policymakers and advisors, and young leaders including:
- Professor Sultan Barakat, Professor of Public Policy, Hamad Bin Khalifa University
- Alicia Herbert, Director of Education, Gender and Equality and Special Envoy for Gender Equality, FCDO
- Angie Murimirwa, CEO, CAMFED
- Hon Adrian Piccoli, former NSW Minister for Education
Please email us at ceremony@yidanprize.org if you are interested in attending in person. You can also register for the live stream, and view the full speaker line-up and agenda here.
