The 5th International Conference on Early Childhood Development (ECD) will take place on 7 & 8 April 2026 at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, under the theme “Investing in Early Childhood Development – Building Human Capital.” The conference is organized by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Rupani Foundation, Rupani Development Initiatives, UNICEF, Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood, and Allama Iqbal Open University.
Bringing together policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and development partners from across South and West Asia and beyond, the conference will feature over 40 national and international expert speakers, including representatives from WHO, the World Bank, AVPN, and ARNEC. The program will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, paper presentations, and exhibitions, offering a comprehensive platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
As Knowledge Partner, AVPN will contribute to advancing discussions on innovative and sustainable financing, regional collaboration, and scalable solutions to strengthen Early Childhood Development systems and drive long-term social impact.
