Through the GLA experience, you will become a part of a global community of impact leaders seeking to amplify underrepresented voices and enabling localised solutions for SDG challenges. The GLA seeks to empower leaders across Asia, Africa and Latin America to learn from each other, utilising their own narratives and frameworks.
Join us in a 3-day immersive leadership development experience that focuses on embracing diversity, inclusion, uncertainty, and complexity in a power-neutralised space. With your fellow impact leaders working, you will:
- Co-create a space where everyone takes ownership of what they want to learn,
- Build personal and humanised connections with each other,
- Unlock access to untapped, locally-rooted wisdom and perspectives from the Global South, which will improve your decision-making in the shift to localised solutions.
The workshop will bring together a diverse and inclusive small group of participants. The group is composed in such a way that each participant will bring a unique perspective to the room. You will be joined by:
- Funders active in emerging economies and interested in strengthening localised solutions,
- Grassroot & Indigenous leaders, movement builders, social entrepreneurs who are eager to strengthen the movement towards localised solutions,
- Impact drivers in policy positions, media & corporate settings.
Through participation in the GLA, you will gain first-hand experience building deeper connections in a context defined by diversity and inclusion, embracing complexity, and feeling more comfortable in situations with a strong degree of unpredictability. These are all crucial competencies for effective leadership in today’s dynamic and interconnected impact ecosystem. After participating in the GLA workshop, you will also become a member of the global GLA community.
