AVPN’s Member, The Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC), will tell us more about their Asia Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) and will be bringing four of their investees to share the creative ICT solutions that they have made to the social and economic development of the Asia Pacific region as well as the great team of mentors that supported a pilot program on Evaluation and Communications.
These organizations work in a wide array of issues, including software development designed for the preservation of indigenous culture in Malaysia, delivering doorstep tuberculosis care to the bottom of the pyramid in Cambodia, tools to overcome the barriers that different language scripts present in India, as well as a translation tool from Bahasa to English and viceversa.
