Despite enormous opportunities for impact investment capital in Asia, the number of players practicing impact investing is still limited. In response, AVPN would like to support both new and experienced players in deploying resources more effectively: For new investors, we would like to bring in more guidance to get started; for proficient investors, we are excited to share greater and deeper learning experiences as well as opportunities for collaboration.
This seminar is part of AVPN’s new impact investment series to provide effective and rigorous support for new and existing social investors. The first interactive workshop will present Garden Impact Investments, an impact investment fund, as case study. By sharing their experiences in direct equity investments in Asia’s social enterprises, Garden Impact will review their strategies, mechanisms, challenges, and opportunities.
Through presentations, case studies and discussions, participants will be able to:
