The Government series is a new series of webinars that will showcase successful cases of multi-sector collaboration involving Asian government bodies.
In the first edition, we invite the Thai Health Promotion Foundation to share their approach and objectives of funding intermediaries to build up the social investment and enterprise sector, including the Thai Social Enterprise Office (TSEO), the multi-sector partnership “Inspiring Thailand”, and many new innovative programmes that seek to empower local communities. ThaiHealth has gone beyond their remit of funding and operating health related programmes to actively supporting and growing the social enterprise sector as they realise the potential that the innovations can bring to traditional social issues.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Supreda Adulyanon
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth)
Dr. Supreda Adulyanon is one of the leading experts in innovative health financing for the Thai Health Promotion Foundation and health promotion movement in Thailand. Currently, he is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Adulyanon served as Director of the Major Risk Factors Control section of the Tobacco Control, Alcohol Control and Traffic Accident Prevention Programs at the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. He also served as the Vice Dean of Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University – Thailand from 1997-1999.
Dr. Adulyanon’s work with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation on innovative health financing has been acknowledged by different national and international health agencies and he has served as a Thai delegate in many global health forums as an advisor to several organizations in the health promotion arena.
