About this event

*This is a closed-door event.

AVPN will be formally kicking off our third run of the Regional Policy Leadership Lab this March with the generous support of The Toyota Foundation. Our 2021/22 Cohort welcomes eight Policy Fellows from Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, holding diverse portfolios in various government ministries such as the Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission, Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy and Ministry of Villages, and the Provincial Government of Leyte, Philippines.

The Induction and Kickoff Event will be a key opportunity for Fellows to connect with each other, select AVPN members, and AVPN’s in-country directors. Fellows will also have the chance to introduce their policy work and share how they intend to leverage the AVPN network to advance their impact goals. The session will conclude with a fireside chat with AVPN members Landesa, SSEGOV, and Janaagraha, all of who have been long-standing partners to governments to bring about sustainable, systemic change in communities across Asia.

In the following 12 months, Fellows will be engaging with AVPN’s members to scale the development of impact-driven policy initiatives in thematic approaches and areas such as corporate and sustainable finance, healthcare, inclusive community development, and financing for the tourism, MSME, and creative economy sectors.

AVPN Members are welcomed to email us at policy@avpn.asia to find out more about how they can be involved in the Policy Lab and explore their interest to collaborate with Fellows on their initiatives.
