About this event

South Korea has one of the most vibrant and advanced social economies in Asia. The success of the social impact ecosystem is an outcome of factors including favorable policies, such as the Social Enterprise Promotion Act; large number of corporates investing in CSR and innovation; a significant number of incubators and capacity builders, among others.

AVPN Member, Root Impact, has been a crucial player in building up the social impact ecosystem in Korea by providing Changemakers with an environment that enables innovation, including the establishment of co-living houses (D-Well), a co-working space (HEYGROUND) as well as learning opportunities, such as Impact Basecamp and Impact Career.

This roundtable aims to:

  • Facilitate a deeper understanding of the social impact ecosystem in South Korea
  • Challenges and opportunities that lie with South Korea’s social economy
  • Highlight a few Korean innovative social enterprises and social ventures
  • Explore possible collaboration opportunities between China and South Korea.

Please join us in this event to build a vibrant social ecosystem collaboratively!
