Creating Change through Philanthropy: The Next Generation
The next generation of Philanthropists are often faced with the challenge of honouring the legacy of the past while also wanting to innovate and create a legacy of their own. The Asian Venture Philanthropy Network and Standard Chartered Private Bank are hosting a workshop designed to educate, empower and enable the bank’s clients and their families along their giving journeys.
Discussion topics during the interactive three hour session will revolve around principles and practices of strategic giving and new, impactful ways to drive social good. The workshop will begin with an introduction to venture philanthropy and lead up to experience sharing by various Guest Speakers, one of whom is Sundar Mahalingam, Chief Strategy Officer from the Shiv Nadar Foundation. Sundar has real life experience managing a family foundation and will share invaluable insights on challenges and learnings.
