While the pandemic has resulted in disruptions and uncertainty in the market, asset owners, fund managers and impact investors, have remained active and many have undertaken fundraising and investment into a more climate aware portfolio. This event will be hosted by AVPN’s Climate Action Platform in partnership with AWR Lloyd Asset Management. AWR Lloyd’s mission for over two decades has been to act as a catalyst for economic development, sustainability and greater security in the Indo-Pacific region, through supporting clients in the design, development, execution and communication of innovative and value-creating strategies. The webinar will feature two impact funds aligned with the Paris Agreement. The first is a private equity fund called The Norwegian Innovation Fund, managed by AV Group Ltd, which focuses on clean technology and renewables. The second, is a SDG+ Fund, managed by PT Bahana TCW and AWR Lloyd, an ESG screened global public equities and Indonesian debt fund that provides an annual cash yield to a conservation focused NGO and creates SDG+ outcomes for its investors.

Key Takeaways

  • Gain valuable insight from key players in the climate action industry and deepen understanding on clean technology, renewables, ESG-screened global public equities and Indonesian fixed income
  • Join the conversation with other fund managers, asset owners, DFIs and family offices and identify the current opportunities and challenges in clean tech, renewable energy, fintech, ICT and sustainable technologies investment
  • Explore how an innovative funding model designed to create ‘multi’ capital returns by investing in an ESG-screened portfolio of global public equity and fixed income investments in Indonesia will share a minimum yield from the portfolio with a reputable social enterprise in Indonesia with an integrated natural conservation, health and educational development model.
