Taking place across India, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, the Circular Innovation Jam is a week-long ideation event that brings innovative minds together to learn about the circular economy and develop new solutions for waste management and ocean plastic pollution. This is important to us as we strive towards a world without plastic waste as an organisation.
Using design-thinking methodology, participants will undergo a structured process to learn about the issue of ocean plastic pollution and build solutions that respond to local challenge statements developed by our partners related to waste management, recycling and the circular economy. These solutions will then be showcased to the global network of The Incubation Network, with the top ideas receiving support from their incubation partners.
Participants will take part in a structured design thinking process to learn more about the issue of ocean plastic pollution and develop creative solutions that respond to 3 challenge statements around waste management, recycling, and reducing plastic waste.

The development or adoption of innovative reusable and environmentally-friendly packaging or mechanisms in households in South & Southeast Asia

The efficiency or effectiveness of existing waste collection, management & recycling systems, including the informal sector, in South & Southeast Asia

The prevention or reduction of plastic waste in rivers and waterways in South & Southeast Asia
Finalists have a chance to win up to $5000 USD worth of support from The Incubation Network’s global network.
All participants will receive an official certificate of participation.
The challenge invites individuals and teams over the age of 18 regardless of gender, race, background or level of experiences to apply! All that is required is an interest in developing solutions to ocean plastic pollution, and a commitment to participate fully throughout the Circular Innovation Jam.
