We invite you to join us for CoLABS first session, focusing on Children and Youth from economically disadvantage backgrounds.
Cities, even one as meritocratic as ours, can be wildly unequal places. Healthy communities must focus on keeping alive the prospect of equal opportunities to realise their potential.
Our inaugural CoLABS session will have an emphasis on:
- Understanding the educational attainment lag in children and youth from vulnerable families;
- Learning from experts about the challenges experienced by these children and youth that inhibits their learning and thus attainment;
- Sharing by peers on possible strategies and social interventions.
