This participatory design session will explore how we build a market around menstrual health with a focus on both the supply and demand of investment capital. It will examine what types of investments are needed to shape and form a market using a market systems approach and critically think through what activity adjacent to direct investment are needed in emerging contexts to increase the availability and viability of investment opportunities. It will use menstrual health as a working example of a gendered market and the possibilities which exist for those interested in gender-lens investing.
